Agreeing the review scope
A review begins with a concrete question: is this change correct, can the product be maintained, or does the test strategy support the planned release? We define the components and version in scope and identify failures with serious consequences. We read the implementation alongside its callers, data and failure paths. Automated analysis supports this work.
Tests need to expose faults
We assess whether existing tests detect relevant failure states and whether their results are reproducible. Depending on the product, we add focused component checks, integration tests and complete user journeys. Boundary values, cancellation, concurrent changes and external service failures belong in the test plan wherever they can occur in operation.
Findings your team can act on
You receive prioritised findings with an exact location, impact and supporting reasoning. Reproducible faults include a suitable verification case. We discuss the results with the responsible team and can support or implement corrections. The report also identifies what was not examined, so a limited review cannot be mistaken for approval of the entire product.
